A sanctuary from the everyday, the 26-acre Chapungu Sculpture Park (pronounced cha-poon-goo) is the only permanent exhibit of its kind in the U.S. Located east of The Promenade Shops at Centerra off of Centerra Parkway and Hwy. 34 in Loveland, the public park features 82 African stone sculptures carved by artists from Zimbabwe. The artwork is positioned among water features, a 1.5 mile walking trail, benches for seating and community gathering areas. Chapungu Sculpture Park is also the perfect place to hold your next fundraiser, wedding, concert, company picnic or corporate retreat. Tents and power are available for the main stage and open lawn areas, located on the north end of the park behind Macy’s. The park can facilitate a 300-person event or be transformed into an intimate setting for that special occasion.
