The High Plains Environmental Center works to educate communities to become replicable “living laboratories” which demonstrate restorative examples of land-stewardship, native plants, and wildlife habitat.

4. Small museum of natural specimen including taxidermy
5. Lots of information about native plant landscaping, saving water, animal habitat, and pollinators.
6. Beautiful trails around Houts Reservoir and Equalizer Lake with unparalleled bird watching opportunities.
7. Fishing in designated areas.
