Blue Arena: Tips & Tricks
Stay at The Embassy Suites – The Embassy Suites by Hilton Loveland Hotel Conference Center and Spa is located within The Ranch Events Complex, home to Blue Arena. Located next door to the arena, the property is a quick, easy walk away, making it the perfect choice for a post-event overnight. Guests can park at the hotel, eliminating the event center parking fee, and the need to designate a driver. The property also cooks up the best complimentary breakfast in town.
Grab pre-event grub at Nordy’s – Beloved Nordys Bar-B-Que & Grill is the perfect place to dine in before a Blue Arena event; it’s located close by and serves what locals and fans say is the best barbecue in Colorado. Nordy’s can get busy, so if you miss the chance to eat at the restaurant, find the Nordy’s food cart at Blue Arena and fill up there. There are plenty of gluten-free options.
Leave bags and large purses at home – Blue Arena has a strict bag policy and they don’t mess around. We recommend leaving all bags at home and carrying necessities in your pockets. If a bag is a must, make sure to follow the guidelines (use clear plastic or a clutch that doesn’t exceed 4.5” x 6.5”) – all bags are inspected and measured upon entry.
No bad seats – Blue Arena’s more intimate size and the configuration for Eagles and Spartans games, special events, and concerts mean there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. Our seats for the REO Speedwagon concert were located above the side of the stage, allowing us to see the happenings behind the scenes, which made for a special experience.
Whether it’s playoff hockey, singing along to Weezer or laughing until you burst with top-notch comedy, Blue Arena is a one-of-a-kind venue that has hosted hundreds of the best acts over the years. It’s going to be a great spring and summer event season, so be sure to get your tickets before sell-out!
