2026 SWEETHEART FESTIVAL
The 8th Annual Loveland Sweetheart Festival returns to downtown Loveland on Saturday, February 14, celebrating Valentine’s Season in the Sweetheart City with a full day of FREE festivities. From live ice carving and art demonstrations to music and dance performances on the community stage, the festival brings together families, friends, and sweethearts for a vibrant downtown celebration. This year, enjoy the Sweetheart Stroll, a downtown venue crawl featuring activities and experiences for everyone to enjoy.
During the Sweetheart Stroll, groups can collect stamps at participating locations throughout downtown. Each group that collects five out of twelve stamps will receive a love lock at the Downtown Visitor Center, creating a memorable way to lock your love and take part in one of Loveland’s most cherished Valentine’s traditions. SWEETHEART BALL
Step back in time at the Loveland Sweetheart Ball on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., held at the historic Pulliam Building in downtown Loveland. Guests are invited to dress in their finest vintage attire and enjoy an evening inspired by the 1940s golden age of romance, featuring a 15-piece big band, a jazz lounge with live entertainment, period re-enactors, and timeless ballroom glamour. Once the heart of Loveland’s community gatherings, the Pulliam Building comes alive again, glowing with music, movement, and nostalgia as guests dance the night away surrounded by its vintage architectural charm. 80TH ANNUAL VALENTINE REMAILING PROGRAM
The official 2026 Loveland Valentine card, collector’s stamp, (also known as a cachet), and commemorative postmark have been announced. Every Valentine that passes through the program receives the special collector’s stamp and postmark, making each piece of mail a keepsake.
Each year, Loveland receives nearly 100,000 Valentines from all 50 states and more than 110 countries around the world through the Valentine Re-mailing Program, the largest program of its kind. Dedicated sponsors and volunteers hand-stamp each Valentine at the city’s post office before it is re-mailed with care.
The program is deeply loved by the community. In fact, demand to participate is so strong that there is a waiting list of residents eager to volunteer. Over the years, Loveland’s Valentine Re-mailing Program has grown into a beloved tradition and a global symbol of connection and romance.
2026 OFFICIAL LOVELAND VALENTINE'S CARDS
The official 2026 Loveland Valentine’s cards celebrates the city’s cherished tradition of sending love around the world. Featuring a heartfelt verse, the card shares a meaningful message of love and kindness that resonates with recipients near and far.
Valentine cards are available for purchase online at Loveland.org for $10, which includes the card, printing, processing, and postage. Cards may also be purchased for $6 at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, the Loveland Visitor Center, and select retail locations throughout Loveland, including Safeway, Walmart, Rowes, Columbine Drug, and B Sweet Cupcakes. All cards purchased through Loveland.org are automatically included in the Valentine Re-mailing Program.

Official Valentine Beer
Grimm Brothers Brewhouse proudly brews the 2026 Official Valentine’s Beer of the Sweetheart City, marking the 15th edition of The Bleeding Heart. Based on the brewery’s German-style porter, Master Thief, this beloved seasonal release will be available in 16-ounce cans and kegs beginning in mid-January, perfectly timed to celebrate Valentine’s Season in Loveland.
Official Valentine Wine
Sweet Heart Winery will feature their Amador County AVA Barbera 2023 as the 2026 Official Valentine’s Wine. Grown in the Sierra Mountains at 1,750 feet elevation and carefully handcrafted with hand sorting, manual punch downs, a gentle bladder press, and French oak aging, this fruit-forward, light to medium-bodied Barbera offers tasting notes of black cherry, vanilla, and nutmeg, with bright yet integrated acidity, balanced tannins, and a lingering finish that delights the palate.

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Top of the Lake Coffee to create the 2026 Official Loveland Valentine Coffee, the Sweetheart Blend. This medium-roast Central American coffee is crafted to celebrate connection, offering a smooth body, balanced warmth, and a clean, lingering finish. Comforting yet vibrant, it’s perfect for slow mornings, cozy afternoons, or moments meant to be savored together—a cup made for sharing or for treating yourself to a little extra love.
Official Valentine Cupcake
Celebrate love with B Sweet Cupcakes’ special Valentine’s creation, the Sweetheart Cherry Chocolate Chip. This cherry cupcake is filled with dark chocolate chips and topped with cherry cream cheese frosting, a dark chocolate drizzle, and a chocolate heart, making it the perfect treat to share (or savor all to yourself) this Valentine’s Season.
Official Valentine Candle
This year’s candle is Sweetheart Spruce, a 6oz, 100% hand-poured soy candle with the fresh, clean scent of spruce. Kinzie Sargent, age 10, is selling the candles for a cause, and a portion of all sales at the Loveland Visitors Center will benefit the House of Neighborly Services.
This Valentine’s season, share your love with the first-ever Official Loveland Valentine Love Lock. Each year, this limited-edition lock features a new design inspired by love, and the 2026 edition is called “Bold Love.” Locks are available for purchase at the East Gateway and Downtown Visitor Centers and can be engraved and placed on any of Loveland’s four Love Lock Sculptures—locking your love for years to come.

The 10th anniversary of Loveland’s Valentine’s Group Weddings is here! MISS VALENTINE 2026
Loveland’s 2026 Miss Valentine is Ellory Anne, a Senior at Loveland High School and a true ambassador of love and community. Born and raised in Loveland, Ellory excels in academics, athletics, music, and leadership, serving as President of the National Honor Society, Student Council member, Varsity athlete, and Congressional Award Silver Medalist. She has completed over 425 hours of community service and enjoys running, equestrian sports, culinary pursuits, and linguistics.
As Miss Valentine, Ellory will represent the Sweetheart City with grace and enthusiasm at local events and festivities throughout the year, continuing Loveland’s cherished tradition of celebrating love, service, and community spirit.
